The OSG, a professional body of Ophthalmologists in Ghana, was inaugurated in 1992. At its inauguration, there were only 15 members including several expatriates. Currently, 20 years on our numerical strength has increased to 50 with not less than 5 expatriates. Our objectives include promoting good eye health in Ghana maintaining professionalism in our profession as ophthalmologist. Our activities include organizing continuous medical education for our members and collaborating with each other and members of other ophthalmological societies to improve patient care. We are associated with the ICO, the AAO, and the WGA. We invite you to join us in the fight against avoidable blindness.
